Hey,
pleas help me if I´m wrong, but I think you are talking about the way to order the troops, which are from different countries and speak different languages, don´t you.
To give an opinion, it is absolutely possible to learn a few french commands. You can train it in a really short time. Vorward, backward, hold the line, open the door... And a few other commands are not to hard to learn in french.
A second way to get commands across to everybody is to instruct a line commander who understands frech and german or english an controlls the part of the coalition-troops, who don´t understand french. I could imagine, that this was the historical way to head an army...
(Reinhardt did a good job, but he had to order the french-speaking part of the coalition, too...)
I am sorry to breake into your discussion, but maybe it is helpful for you. It is absolutely possible for us to learn a few french commands. And it is possible to talk about ways to interact with you efficient. If you like us to help, just talk to us.
